DRI partners with local authorities on social impact projects in Romania

DRI partners with local authorities on social impact projects in Romania
As part of its commitment to community development, DRI delivered two social impact projects in the regions of Ruginoasa and Glodeni.

DRI is committed to making a positive impact in the communities where it operates. This winter, the company partnered with the local authorities in Romania on two social impact projects: one in Glodeni and another in Ruginoasa, regions where it has a total of three operational projects. These initiatives reflect DRI’s ongoing dedication to supporting local communities.

In Glodeni, DRI supported the local community this holiday season by providing 500 Christmas packages to children at the local school. DRI representatives attended the event in Glodeni alongside the Mayor to take part in the gift distribution and school celebration. In Glodeni, DRI operates two solar parks, 53MWp Glodeni I and 60MWp Glodeni II, with the latter having gone online at the beginning of this year.

In Ruginoasa, home to DRI’s 60MW wind farm, the company supported children from vulnerable families by distributing warm clothing for the winter. This was made possible through a partnership with the Local Municipality, the Community School and the Welfare State Department.

DRI’s commitment to community development is central to its mission. By working closely with local partners, the company addresses key social needs in education, health, and environmental protection. To ensure DRI’s efforts have a lasting impact, the company works with local NGOs and stakeholders to identify the specific needs of communities in Romania, Italy, Croatia, and Poland, where it operates.
